Health Navigation Fundamentals is designed to improve your basic patient navigation skills. This comprehensive course is an introductory “Level 1” training for navigators who want to gain skills and knowledge of the history of patient navigation, communication strategies, health promotion, motivational interviewing and professional boundaries. This course includes online prework to complete before attending the three days in person. Ideal forPatient Navigators, Community Health Workers, Care Coordinators, Promoters de Salud. Cost
What to ExpectYou will gain access to the prework course several weeks before the in-person dates. Location: Lowry Conference Center Course AccessYou should receive an email by 5/15/25 and 6/15/25 for June and July offerings, respectively, from the course teaching assistant with instructions on accessing your course prework. When the online materials become available, you will be able to access them in Brightspace by using the credentials you used to request a seat.
