Join the Integrated Food Safety Centers of Excellence for a three-part web series on food safety in correctional facilities. Correctional facilities face unique challenges related to food safety. Additionally, persons detained or incarcerated are six times more likely to get an outbreak-associated foodborne illness than the general population, with outbreaks being six times larger than those reported in other settings. This series will dive into unique outbreaks, high-risk foods, and other food safety challenges specific to correctional settings. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear our expert panel share their insights, strategies, and best practices to prepare for and mitigate outbreaks in these environments. Each webinar will conclude with a 15-minute Q&A session. Recordings will be available for those unable to attend the live session.
