Join the Office of Suicide Prevention (OSP) for a webinar on the current landscape of suicidality in rural Colorado. You will learn how the OSP is working with rural communities to implement and adapt comprehensive suicide prevention approaches to their local contexts. We will provide an overview of rural suicide ideation, attempt, and fatality data, as well as disparities among specific rural subpopulations, key factors that contribute to these health inequities, and unique challenges for implementing public health strategies. We will also outline some of OSP’s current programs and strategies that strive to meet community needs and promote hope, healing, and wellbeing for those impacted by suicide.
