This workshop delves into the science of resilience and provides leaders with proven techniques to build their personal capacity for navigating adversity, improve their own and their team's performance, and reduce burnout.

You will learn how to manage your resilience capacity, apply proven resilience-building techniques during the workday, and create a supportive environment that empowers your team to thrive amidst change and challenge. Leave with a personalized action plan to strengthen your resilience and lead with greater impact.

What to Expect

  • Live Learning Sessions
    • 2/24/26 – 3/17/26, Tuesdays | 1:00 - 4:00 PM MT.
  • Optional Community of Practice Meetings (Immediately following up the four main sessions).
    • Tuesdays, every other week | 1:00 - 2:00 PM MT:
      3/24/26, 4/7/26, 4/21/26, 5/5/26.

After you register, you’ll receive a link to a short needs assessment. You must complete this assessment before you can access the course content.

The course materials will be available 2 weeks before the course orientation. You will receive additional instructions from the course support person at that time. Make sure you sign in prior to your first live session to complete the required activities and ensure you know how to connect with your camera.

You must have access to an internet capable device equipped with a camera and microphone. Computers (laptops/desktops) are preferred, but please let us know if you need to operate from a tablet or mobile phone so we can assist you.

We will be using Zoom for our Live Learning Sessions. You can join a Zoom test meeting here to check your audio, webcam, and to locate other Zoom features.

To earn a Certificate of Completion, you must:

  • Attend all 4 live learning sessions.
  • Complete 100% of homework assignments.
  • Complete the post-course evaluation.

Learning Objectives

  1. Resilience and Caring Leadership
    Participants will identify strategies and use tools to manage the unique stresses of today's fast-paced world.
  2. Practical Skills
    Through daily practice, leaders will integrate techniques to boost their personal resilience and model these practices for their teams.
  3. Conflict and Psychological Safety
    The course explores the impact of conflict and trauma on resilience and performance. Leaders will learn constructivist listening as a form of conflict resolution and gain the confidence to create and maintain a psychologically safe, trauma-informed environment for their teams.

Topics: Mental health post-pandemic, resilience science and performance, the role of emotions, the coherence concept, psychological safety, and leading with a trauma-informed lens towards engagement, job satisfaction, wellbeing, and performance.

Length of Learning Opportunity

4 live learning sessions and 4 optional Community of Practice sessions, from February to May.

Our Refund Policy

  • If you are unable to attend the course, you must cancel your registration at least 1 day before the first day of training in order to transfer your registration fee to another offering of the same course or receive a refund. You may also transfer your registration to another person.
  • All refunds are subject to an 18% processing fee.
  • If a transfer to a different offering of a training is requested, the funds must be used in the same fiscal year (July 1 - June 30), or they will be automatically refunded, minus an 18% processing fee, at the end of the fiscal year.
